Public Bathrooms in the Suburbs is a loosely-organized assemblage of writings, drawings, photography, digital collages, cut-up poetry, DXM-induced ramblings, and MS paint art created throughout 2023 by Effie LaLumiere aka Φ aka VID30 while stuck living with her parents in her dreary Montana hometown.

It tells a story about a group of autistic middle-class children who figure out how to cure their own autism by destroying their bodies in the image of God and being remade as extraterrestrial spider-angels whose sole purpose of existence is to come up with weird and fucked up new kinds of art that eats through the sanity of the collective unconscious and makes everyone go ape shit wacko just for the hell of it.

We are the thousands of microcosmic half-formed realities lurking in the margins of all existence where the scum of the earth dwell and dream and love and survive, hiding from an increasingly chthonic and incomprehensible Real that threatens to swallow them and everything they love whole. We are beauty and horror, pain and pleasure, sorrow and joy, creation and destruction, good and evil, love and hate. We are the flesh outside the flesh, the body outside the body. We purify the corrupted, and corrupt the pure. We find our God in the trash and the decay, the blight of artifice absorbing all life and meaning from nature, from the entrails of which a new anti-spirituality is born. We will not stop until we've destroyed everything that lives.

For everything that lives is holy.

(WARNING: I stole from a lot of different intellectual properties, books, websites and online posts to make this so uh. Yeah. Don't sue pls.)
